I ordered a carnitas burrito. Wow! It was delicious. It was mostly filled with carnitas and a small amount of beans. I ate it with lime wedges and the green salsa. This place is close to my house and I will definitely be back!
Pro tip: there are water cups available but I couldn't find the water to save my life. The water can be found in a black and silver dispenser by the door! -

I've passed this place several dozen times, and have wanted to stop in for a couple soft tacos - my absolute favorite food - and toddy I finally had a chance, and I am so happy I did! I got two Carne Asada tacos, and they were just wonderfully delicious! Plenty full of fillings and they put two small corn tortillas under the fillings, which is great as I have a habit of tearing through only one, and will end up shoving the rest in my mouth and chew slowly, likely appearing to be a large long haired chipmunk. Lol.
I highly recommend and I will definitely be back, as I pass by here several times a week. -

If you're longing for "authentic" Mexican food rather than the latest long line, Portlandized-trend, then look no further than purist favorite Santo Domingo.
Today, I enjoyed a delicious, generous portion of Champurrado: a hot chocolate drink made with corn. And it only cost EIGHT quarters! -

This our go-to Mexican restaurant in Portland. The staff are always friendly, and the food is always delicious. Favorites are the Chile relleno, carnitas tacos, and machaca burrito, but I have never been disappointed. Surrounded by other choices on the same street, this is the place to go.

Overall theme for the food was just OK. The carne asada, lengua and al pastor tacos were just all right and the carne asada burrito was a bit below average. The lengua particularly Was disappointing, this meat should be "melt in your mouth" type of consistency but this taco was chewy and seemed as if it should be cooked for another couple hours. The burrito was bland and didn't have any appeal at all.
This restaurant is in between two other taco places, one on the other side of Killingsworth. So far this restaurant I would skip again and try the other ones on the same street to see if they're better
